The department of Humanities and Social Sciences Research Centre under the Deanship of Research and Development Centres of Koya University has conducted a six-day training course entitled “mastering academic writing for Scopus and Web of Science indexed publications”. The training course was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Rekurd Sarhang Maghdid and Dr. Firas Nooraldeen Mardan at the Judge Amir Hall, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences on 9th February 2025. This training course was mainly designed for academic staff and early career researchers in the departments of Business Administration and Accounting.
Upon the completion of the training course, two research groups for the Accounting Department and three Research groups for the Business Administration have been created. The course ended with a closing ceremony attended by the Dean of the Research and Development Centers of Koya University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Halgurd Sarhang Maghdid and the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Asst. Prof. Dr.Elham Majid Qadir, who presented awards to the trainers and participants of the course.
